Just a quick post today.  I had to pass on a couple of things my kids have said.

Last night, Dan came home early, so we had a quick dinner and he took us all out for ice cream.  While we were sitting there eating, Jack asked me to remind him who his Godparents are.  When I told him, he said that he’d thought his Godparents were our friends “from the farm.”  Fairly sure I knew who he meant, I told him that no, they weren’t his Godparents and couldn’t be because they’re not Catholic.

“You meant they’re public?” he asked.  Hahahahaha.  I thought that was so funny.

When I picked Sam up from preschool today, he told on himself (gotta love it when they’re still young enough to do that).

“I didn’t get a snack today,” he told me.

“Why not?” I asked him.

“Because I knocked down that boy’s castle.”

“Well, that wasn’t very nice,” I told him.  “You need to be nice to your friends.”

“Let’s just not talk about that. Okay?” he said, very seriously.
