Unfortunately, the little boys take their swim lessons after Jack and Maria are finished with theirs. Which means there is some waiting for everyone each morning.
This morning, while Maria and Jack were waiting for the boys’ lessons to be over, Jack went off to the grassy area with my iPhone to dance to his favorite song: The Safety Dance. The baby was sleeping, Maria was entertaining herself and I had my book, so I only glanced up occasionally. During one of my checks, I saw that Jack was talking to a little boy… probably 2 or 2 1/2 years old. He was showing my phone to the boy. There are a lot of games on it for the kids, so I assumed that’s what he was showing him.
A few minutes later, I glanced up again. Jack was still playing with the boy, but this time he was dancing to another song. I heard him tell the boy that it was a really great song.
Which, it is.
Just not for kids.
