Well, Jack and Maria have completed their first few days at their new school and things are looking good. Luke and Sam start preschool at the same school next week.
I cannot tell you how thrilled I am that we are finally at this point. How I dreaded the decision to change schools! How I hated that my kids would have to go to yet another new school.
But, it was the right decision. Absolutely. Jack asked me on the way to school today if we were going to stay at this school. When I told him yes – for a long, long time – he said, “good!”
I was happy with the school they attended last year. But, somehow, this school just fits us better. It’s close to home. It’s our parish school. We can walk. The kids’ classmates live very near by… and so do their parents! I feel like the families here are just more like ours. We belong.
Of course, then again, no one really knows us yet…

that maria is just more and more gorgeous everytime i see her! glad the new school is working out so well despite the walk w/the little ones.

The kids look so cute. The family picture turned out great. I think it is one of the better ones. I hope the kids are going to love the new school. But I am sure they will.

I love reading your blog. How you have time to write it is a mystery to me. With only 3 I’d never have been able to keep it up. Glad you are enjoying the new school and neighborhood. Be carefeul after the little ones get into pre-school, you’ll have time to complete a thought and have a conversation even if it is just with yourself. Hope to see you soon in Austin. I am looking forward to traveling with your mom and sampling a bit of the Guiness.
