We are moving right along. Dan kicked butt this weekend with his home improvement honey-do’s. He replaced the motor in the upstairs bathroom exhaust fan and cleaned it up – looks and works like new!
He did this spectacular job repairing the downstairs bathtub.
He replaced one of two hall lights upstairs.
And, he fixed a couple of doors that weren’t hanging properly. He’s getting to be a regular HandyDan.
Over the last two days, I cleared our fence line, bundled brush, weed wacked and hedge trimmed.
Like I said before, by the time it’s all over, we’ll be ready to go into the home improvement business. Our first big job? Turning our tiny, crappy bathroom into this:

We’ll never have a big “master” bath, but we can make it look bigger – and nice! Of course, all of this is a one-day-maybe-never project. Clearly we’ve got to get that upstairs bathroom working properly and get the kitchen done. By the time those things are finished, it’s going to be the dead of winter in Chicagoland. We’ll be spending all our time and energy on snow removal.
