This week both of The Little Boys had their Christmas programs at school.
Sam worked hard ringing and singing:
Introduced a song to the audience:
And sat on Santa’s lap:
And Luke was the best Toy Soldier the school has ever seen:
One more half-day of school and Christmas Vacation begins.

At the suggestion of my sister Caroline, yesterday the kids and I made chocolate-dipped pretzels. I just happened to have the necessary supplies on hand, and after a long day inside we needed a boredom buster.
I melted the chocolate, Jack did the dipping and Luke, Sam and Maria applied the nonpareils.
