The kids are watching The Swan Princess.  This is your typical princess fairy tale with good and evil and love and spells.

Anyway, at the beginning, the princess asks the prince if the only reason he wants to marry her is her beauty.  “What else is there?”  The prince asks.  Oops!

The kids asked me about this – why she was upset.  I explained that her looks aren’t what’s important.  It’s what’s inside. I said, “I didn’t marry Dad because he’s beautiful.”  And Jack responded, “No.  That’s why HE married YOU.  And because you looked good!”

Hahahaha.  They have a lot to learn.
