I know. I’ve been slacking on the blog. And let me tell ya, it isn’t for lack of material! I promise to be better. This will have to do for now:
Luke has his “Three Sprees” but he can still be our sweetest boy. Yesterday Dan was holding him in the kitchen, not long after we’d returned from church.
“I’m not a baby anymore. I’m a big boy,” he said. “But I’ll always be your baby. Right, Daddy?”

Something I learned over the weekend:
Don’t ever go bra shopping with a four-year-old, unless you want the ENTIRE store to have a play-by-play with the word “boobies” used frequently.

We sent The List in. Pray for us – that we are able to move to a wonderful community where we can be happy raising our kids. I’m not exaggerating when I say we love it here more and more every day. We have some really terrific friends and a great school and parish we really belong to. We want so much to find that where ever we land this summer.

Oprah has yet to call me for advice, but I just finished a book that I would definitely add to my book club if I was her. It’s not a book I would have ever picked up, but I heard the author speak over the weekend at a Catholic women’s conference. She was a wonderful speaker and her story is just incredible. To have survived what she did and be so faithful and forgiving is boggling to the mind.
Go out and buy it. Read it! I’m passing my copy around – let me know if you want to be put on the list and I’ll get it to you.
