You missed me, didn’t you? Come on. Admit it.
I haven’t had much time to blog, as my parents were visiting and I was on ’round the clock protection detail.
Everyone survived and, if you can believe it, there were no major disasters. We had a wonderful time, as is evident from some of the pictures you’ll see on my flickr account. No comments on the quality, please. I have yet to find the time to explore my new camera. I tried this morning after my parents left and, despite being one child down due to a birthday party, I still had to abort when the chaos level became too much to ignore. (After all, I didn’t want the neighbors calling the police on us.)
Now back to your regularly scheduled blog…
Dan had lunch at school with Jack on Thursday. A field trip was canceled due to rain and we thought it might be a pick-me-up for Dad to show up with lunch from DQ.
While there, TBTITWW’s aide pulled Dan aside. Apparently, our oldest son is not executing proper urinal etiquette while in the bathroom at school.
Horror of horrors, he’s dropping his drawers to the floor!
Putting aside the ick factor of having your pants touch the bathroom floor, who’d have thought this would be improper? After all, this is how my boys do it at home while using the potty. Then again, what does a girl know?
I guess when I start to evaluate the situation I can see the point… I really don’t want everyone in a public restroom seeing my kids’ bum.
Anyway, I’m glad it was Dan that was approached about this issue. And Dan it will be addressing it. Guess Jack will be using the barn doors from now on.
