We traveled down to Tennessee over the weekend so we could be present for our new Goddaughter’s baptism. It was a whirlwind trip, but well worth it. I’m so thankful to Troy, Kyle and their family for letting us intrude during Kyle’s last few days before re-deployment.
Zoë was baptized on Sunday and Kyle had to [...]

Oh, well. They at least accurately reflect the life we lead.
P.S. This must be a record number of posts for me in a day.

I melted the chocolate, Jack did the dipping and Luke, Sam and Maria applied the nonpareils.
I wonder… what does the [...]

I was a teeny bit sad for Maria, as she was supposed to have [...]

This year I gave everyone a pair of Christmas-y earrings. Some were little jingle bells, some were little Christmas bulbs. I always like [...]

A Very Special Christmas Gift

My good friend Troy called me last night. I was a little surprised to hear from her. The baby isn’t due to be born until December 22nd, and Kyle is home on his mid-tour break from Afghanistan. No way should she be taking time away from her family right now to talk to me!
Anyway, she [...]
