As we were driving past the pediatrician’s office after collecting Jack from school the other day, it occurred to me that Jack, Maria and Luke still hadn’t gotten their flu shots. And, well, I had just read something that said you should get them by the end of November.
Crazy me, I whipped the van [...]

Ummmm. Yeah.
Instead, I don’t think my children even heard the phone. I mean, how could they have? They were all in the kitchen, yelling [...]

Yesterday was the kindergarten Thanksgiving Feast at Jack’s school. The WHOLE FAMILY attended.
It was WONDERFUL! We were so proud of Jack and he was definitely proud of himself. He was so happy to see us, his smile could have beamed us to the moon and back.

Anyhow, when my friend Katey moved to D.C., I scored big. I got most of her houseplants, some outdoor plants and some indoor/outdoor plants. [...]

For the first time in a looooooong time, Dan and I are going out tonight. Big date - Casino Night at Jack’s school. Of course, TWBB is coming to watch the kids. Since the event doesn’t start until 7 p.m., I plan to have everyone fed, bathed and jammied before she [...]

Signs you need to turn on your furnace:
Your color-changing sippy cups change color without having any cold liquid in them.
The baby wakes up happy and smiling at you — with blue lips.
Visitors to your house leave their coats on - even if they stay for hours.
The kids flinch every time you touch them because your [...]

If you could see my computer, this is what you’d see (I have it as my desktop background):
I have to say, it’s my favorite Halloween picture. (And yes, I’m still feeling sentimental about his walking running.)
